AMGD is an Engineering and Project Management Consultancy Firm. It aims to deliver architectural, structural and electromechanical solutions for a wide range of constructions, and all types of developments.
We are an affiliate company of Al Amar Consulting Group, which was founded in 1995; currently employing over 500 engineers, and ranked among the Top 225 International Design Firms (ENR 2016, 2017 & 2018 Reports).
AMGD endeavors to become a world class organization, providing cutting-edge architectural designs, engineering solutions and efficient project management; and to provide opportunities for qualified collaborative professionals to ensure the success of all stakeholders.

H.E. Ahmed Ali Al Shorafa is a civil engineer and business leader who sets AMGD’s direction. His Excellency’s career spans design, construction and project management on some of the UAE’s landmark developments, including Burj Khalifa and the Masdar City master plan, alongside major infrastructure works.

Camie runs AMGD’s human resources, accounting and finance, holding several key positions across the company and keeping both its people and its books in good order.
Document Controller
Ilene is AMGD’s document controller, managing project documentation, submissions and correspondence so the engineering teams and clients always work from the right drawings and records.

A shared AI layer in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Forma that takes plain-language requests and carries them out inside the model.
Fast environmental analysis while the design is still easy to change, so options are compared on evidence, not instinct.
AI-assisted modelling inside the coordinated model our structural and MEP teams already share.
AutoCAD Assistant understands DWG geometry and drawing standards, and works from typed or spoken prompts.
For master plans, ports and industrial sites, the assistant extends to civil design data.
Autodesk Construction Cloud, now part of the Forma platform, brings AI to supervision, submittals and site records.
